The Global Power Forum (GPF) is not just another international meeting — it is a bold, transformative platform that brings together some of the most influential voices shaping our world today. Convened by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development (CELD) and the African Leadership Organization (ALO), GPF represents the strategic fusion of two prestigious gatherings: the Global Power Women Conference (GPWC) and the International Forum on African-Caribbean Leadership (IFAL).
By uniting these legacies under one umbrella, GPF delivers a unique forum that amplifies voices, strengthens collaboration, and drives solutions that reflect the realities of the Global South.
Held annually in New York City, alongside the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), GPF provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to place the priorities of Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and the global diaspora at the very heart of international conversations. This convening brings together Heads of State, First Ladies, business leaders, policymakers, CEOs, development partners, civil society, and visionaries to build partnerships that transcend borders and sectors.
GPF is where global influence meets inclusive leadership — a platform where the future of power is redefined by cooperation, diversity, and shared prosperity.
Strengthen partnerships across the Global South by creating spaces for governments and businesses to engage and collaborate.
Highlight women leaders shaping politics, business, diplomacy, and innovation, ensuring their voices influence global priorities.
Deepen intercontinental partnerships through trade, investment, climate resilience, and cultural diplomacy.
Mobilize support from development partners, philanthropy, and the private sector to scale impact across the Global South.
